Scope
This document describes a test method for determining the low-temperature resistance of rubber or plastic-coated fabrics by subjecting them to bending at a specified temperature after exposure to low temperatures for a certain period of time. This document is applicable to coated fabrics with a thickness of 0.1 mm to 2.2 mm. For materials with a thickness greater than the above, it is necessary to modify the standard equipment (see 9.2, second paragraph).
Given that rubber or plastic-coated fabrics are used in various products with different requirements for low-temperature bending, this test cannot be used as the sole criterion for assessing their performance in actual use.
