Scope

This document describes the test method for evaluating the corrosion resistance of electrical product components, equipment, and materials in a salt spray environment.
This test method aims to verify the quality comparison of the state maintained by a certain metal material with and without corrosion protection after exposure to salt spray.
This test method is suitable for evaluating the quality and uniformity of coatings that protect metals from corrosion, particularly for detecting discontinuities such as pores and other defects in certain metal coatings, organic coatings, anodized films, and conversion films.
