GB/T 29022-2012 Particle size analysis—Dynamic light scattering (DLS)
Basic Information
Scope
This standard specifies the method of measuring the average particle size and size distribution of sub-micron-nanometer-sized particles or droplets dispersed in liquids using dynamic light scattering (DLS).
This standard is applicable to a wide range of concentrations, and can measure suspensions from low to high concentrations. For low-concentration suspension samples, dynamic light scattering is equivalent to photon correlation spectroscopy; for high-concentration suspension samples, in addition to the correct interpretation of the test results, specific requirements are also proposed for the measurement device and sample preparation.
Note: The photon correlation spectroscopy applicable to low-concentration suspension samples is already specified in GB/T 19627-2005/ISO 13321:1996.
