Scope

This document describes the method for determining the heel bonding strength of footwear. This document is applicable to women's shoes with medium and high heels. The test method in this document measures three aspects related to wear performance: -- the rigidity of the rear part of the shoe during normal walking; -- the amount of permanent deformation of the rear part of the shoe caused by the backward force applied to the heel; -- the force required to separate the heel.
