GB/T 16296.2-2016 Acoustics—Audiometric test methods—Part 2:Sound-field audiometry with pure-tone and narrow-band test signals
Basic Information
Scope
This part of GB/T 16296 specifies the requirements for free sound fields, diffuse sound fields, and quasi-free sound fields, as well as the characteristics of the relevant test signals. It also describes the method of conducting sound field audiometry using pure tones, modulated tones, and other narrowband noise test signals provided by one or more speakers. This part is applicable to determining the hearing threshold levels in the frequency range of 125 Hz to 8,000 Hz, but this frequency range can be extended to 20 Hz to 16,000 Hz. This part does not include requirements for the use of handheld speakers, nor does it include the use of speech as a test signal. The purpose of this part is to conduct hearing tests using sound field audiometry to ensure the highest possible accuracy and reproducibility. Appendix A provides an example diagram of the audiometry results.
