Scope
This standard specifies the codes used for the identification of boat hulls, including: — The identification code of the country where the manufacturer is located; — The manufacturer's identification code; — The serial number; — The month and year of manufacture code; — The model year code. This standard applies to all types and materials of boats with a hull length of no more than 24 m. This standard does not apply to pleasure boats used at beaches or bathing resorts.
