Scope

This standard specifies the electroacoustic characteristics of spherical focusing ultrasonic transducers made of spherical piezoelectric materials (hereinafter referred to as spherical focusing ultrasonic transducers) and their measurement methods.
This standard is applicable to a working frequency range of 1.0 MHz to 15 MHz.
This standard is not applicable to focusing transducers in focusing transducer arrays and acoustic lenses.
Note: For frequencies below 1.0 MHz, this standard can be referred to for reference.
