Scope

This document describes the methods of determining the total sulfur content in rubber (Method A) and the total nitrogen content (Method B) using an automatic analyzer.
This document is applicable to the determination of the total sulfur and total nitrogen content in rubber.
Note: When determining the total sulfur content in rubber, it will be affected by the sulfur content in accelerators, antioxidants and other additives, and the final determination result will be higher than the actual added sulfur content.
