This standard specifies the technical requirements, test procedures, and methods for determining the corrosion inhibitor's corrosion inhibition rate using the weightlessness method. This standard is applicable to the determination of the corrosion inhibition rate of corrosion inhibitors in industrial boilers during operation and shutdown. This standard is not applicable to the determination of the corrosion inhibition rate of gas-phase corrosion inhibitors.
