Scope

This part of GB/T 32620 specifies the model numbering and polarity marking of lead-acid batteries for electric road vehicles, the battery model and classification, the position and size of the battery terminals, and marking. This part applies to lead-acid batteries (hereinafter referred to as batteries) and battery packs with a rated capacity of more than 32 Ah (including 32 Ah) used in electric vehicles, electric tricycles, golf carts, sightseeing vehicles, electric motorcycles, etc., where the battery is the main power source. This part does not apply to batteries and battery packs used for starting, electric assist, traction, and other purposes.
