Scope

This standard specifies the methods for determining the palladium content in palladium chloride products, including the summary of the method, reagents, instruments and devices, analysis steps, result calculation, and precision. This standard is applicable to the determination of palladium content in palladium chloride products used as palladium-loaded catalysts on activated carbon. The measurement range is 59.50% to 60.50%. This standard is also applicable to the determination of the content of platinum, rhodium, ruthenium, iridium, gold, silver, copper, lead, iron, sodium, aluminum, calcium, magnesium, manganese, nickel, silicon, tin, and zinc in palladium chloride products, where the content of each element is not greater than 0.0010%.
