Scope

This verification system table is applicable to the transfer of measurement values for impact acceleration meters. It specifies the composition of the national reference for impact acceleration and the main metrological performance, as well as the procedure for transferring measurement values from the national reference to working measuring instruments through metrological standard instruments. It also provides the corresponding expanded uncertainty (or maximum allowable error) and basic verification methods. When conducting calibration, this verification system table can also be used as a basis for traceability of measurement values.
This verification system table specifies impact acceleration (m/s2) and impact acceleration pulse duration (s) as the main physical quantities used to describe impact motion.
