Scope

This standard specifies the composition and technical requirements of the inspection system for motor vehicle emission inspection institutions, the requirements for daily operation and maintenance, standard materials, inspection technical requirements, data recording and modification, quality assurance, etc. This standard applies to motor vehicle emission inspection institutions conducting regular vehicle emission inspections and registration inspection. This standard applies to ecological and environmental authorities at the county level and above conducting supervision and management of motor vehicle emission inspection institutions in accordance with the law. This standard does not apply to motor vehicle environmental noise inspection and testing.
