Scope
This document sets out the requirements for an inclusive care plan for caregivers providing care to the following individuals, and provides guidance:
— Adults requiring care (e.g., adults with cognitive, sensory, physical, and invisible disabilities, adults with chronic or episodic diseases, and elderly relatives needing care);
— Children requiring long-term care (e.g., due to chronic diseases or permanent cognitive, sensory, or physical disabilities, or injuries).
This document is applicable to any organization, regardless of its size, department, or community environment (e.g., urban, rural, or remote areas).
This document can be used independently or in conjunction with an organization's management system, human resources plan, or fairness, diversity, and inclusion programs.
