GB/T 19212.20-2008 Safety of power transformers, power supply units and similar—Part 20:Particular requirements for perturbation attenuation transformers
Basic Information
Scope
The chapter of GB 19212.1—2003 is replaced by the following content:
This part specifies the safety requirements for various aspects of transformers, such as electrical, temperature, and mechanical aspects.
This part applies to stationary or mobile, single-phase or multi-phase, air-cooled (natural cooling or forced cooling), standalone or matched isolation or safety isolation transformers, with a rated power supply voltage not exceeding 1,000 V AC, a rated frequency not exceeding 500 Hz, and a rated output not exceeding 10 kVA. Interference attenuation transformers are intended to be used as power supplies for office equipment or similar devices, and they have a neutral output terminal in the output circuit to attenuate the conducted interference of the grid power supply.
Additionally, installation procedures and equipment specifications require that double insulation or reinforced insulation between circuits be achieved by using such transformers.
