Scope

This standard specifies the general requirements for self-monitoring of soil and groundwater by industrial enterprises, the formulation of monitoring plans, sample collection, storage, transfer, preparation and analysis, analysis of monitoring results, quality assurance and quality control, preparation of monitoring reports, and the basic content and requirements of monitoring management. This standard applies to self-monitoring of soil and groundwater within operating industrial enterprises of key units subject to soil pollution supervision. Other industrial enterprises may refer to this standard for self-monitoring of soil and groundwater. For the monitoring of storage sites and landfills in key units subject to soil pollution supervision, if corresponding technical regulations have been issued by the state, those regulations shall prevail.
