Scope

This document specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage for reversing alarms and right-turn warning alarms for automobiles.
This document applies to reversing alarms for N2, N3, M2 (with a maximum design total mass of more than 3,500 kg) and M3 class automobiles, and right-turn warning alarms for N class vehicles (hereinafter collectively referred to as alarms). Other motor vehicles shall refer to and implement these requirements accordingly.
