GB/T 6847-2012 Imaging materials—Photographic film and paper—Determination of curl
Basic Information
Scope
This standard specifies the methods for measuring and quantitatively expressing the curl performance of loose-leaf, roll, or strip photographic films and photo paper before and after processing.
This standard specifies three measurement methods: Method A is a method for measuring curl when the sample is kept vertical, and Methods B and C are methods for measuring curl when the sample is kept horizontal. Due to the different shapes and sizes of the samples, the values obtained by the three methods cannot be compared with each other.
These methods cannot be used to determine the curl performance of photosensitive materials during the processing or drying process.
Note: Curl performance is a physical property of imaging materials. For the numbering method of international standards related to the physical properties and stability of imaging materials, see Appendix A.
