Scope
This part of YS/T 587 specifies the determination method of the tapped density of calcined petroleum coke.
This part is applicable to the determination of the tapped density of calcined petroleum coke. Method 1 is suitable for determining the tapped density (TBD) of calcined petroleum coke with a particle size range of 0.25 mm to 8.0 mm by the light tapping method; Method 2 is suitable for determining the vibration density (VBD) of representative 2 kg samples of calcined petroleum coke with a particle size range of 0.212 mm to 7.00 mm. Within the above particle size range, the ratio of the maximum particle size to the minimum particle size in the sample should be less than 22, and it is preferable to be less than 2.
