Scope

This standard specifies the test method for measuring the dimensional changes of thermally bonded interlinings after heat treatment. This standard is applicable to the determination of the dry heat dimensional changes that occur when various types of woven fabrics, knitted fabrics, and nonwoven fabrics, which have been coated with hot melt adhesive to form bonded interlinings, are bonded to fabrics.
