Scope
This standard specifies the classification, materials, requirements, sampling, testing methods, and rules for marking, labeling, packaging, storage, and transportation of automotive V-belts (hereinafter referred to as V-belts).
This standard applies to automotive V-belts used in auxiliary equipment for driving automotive internal combustion engines (such as fans, generators, water pumps, compressors, power steering pumps, etc.).
