本文件对带有可弯曲鞋底的特里马滑雪靴的尺寸、接口特性、要求、检测方法和标识做了规定。这种鞋底通过鞋尖和鞋跟的附加装置与现行特里马滑雪板固定系统连接，其功能取决于尺寸和接口的设计。
对于那些功能与鞋底形状无关或者在鞋底尺寸方面有不同要求的特里马滑雪板固定系统，为了达到期望的安全程度，其特里马滑雪靴鞋底可以不必遵从本文件。
本文件适用于世界鞋号大于或等于15号的滑雪靴（见附录A）。
