GB/T 40930-2021 Touring ski-boots for adults—Interface with touring ski-bindings—Requirements and test methods

Scope

This document specifies the interface dimensions (the release value depends on the interface size and design), performance, test methods, and marking methods for connecting the front and rear parts of hard-soled snow boots to snowboard bindings using a universal system.
For snowboard binding systems that are not related to the shape of the sole or have different requirements for the sole size, the sole of the snow boots does not need to comply with this document to achieve the required level of safety.
This document applies to snow boots with a world shoe size of 15.0 or greater (see Appendix A).
This document applies to hard-soled travel snow boots. This document does not apply to soft-shell snow boots that do not require a shell as a release structure (such as TRIM snow boots). This document does not apply to snowboard binding systems whose function is not related to the shape of the sole or that have different requirements for the sole size.
