Scope
This document specifies the basic requirements and test methods for ski boot bindings (see 3.1).
This document is applicable to ski boot bindings for adults and children.
This type of binding system uses a mechanical interlocking principle, and the interlocking mechanism of the system will correspond to a specific manufacturer. Compatibility between different systems is not assumed, so any potential risks of connection between ski boots and bindings need to be tested.
