Scope

This document specifies the general requirements, system layout, equipment and facilities, testing and inspection, repair and maintenance, and other technical requirements for the DC charging and power exchange systems of electric ships. This document is applicable to pure electric ships with battery charging compartments and box-type power exchange systems navigating domestically, or hybrid ships with charging and power exchange functions, as well as the DC charging and power exchange systems on land for the aforementioned ships.
