Scope

This document specifies the general requirements for the classification of algae coverage on insulators in the field and prevention and control technologies, including classification standards and prevention and control measures. This document is applicable to the classification of algae on the surfaces of power equipment operating at voltages of 1,000V or higher in AC systems, and 1,500V or higher in DC systems.
