Scope

1.1 This standard specifies the equipment and materials, test procedures, and test reports for the classification and grading of explosive substances in dangerous goods. 1.2 This standard does not apply to the testing of the hazardousness of the following goods: — The hazardousness of military explosives; — The hazardousness of explosives during the production process; — The hazardousness of unpackaged explosive substances during transportation; — The hazardousness caused by static electricity or electromagnetic fields; — The hazardousness caused by improper or unauthorized operations; — Other special hazards under abnormal transportation conditions.
