Scope
This document specifies the general requirements for the operation and maintenance of flexible DC transmission converter stations, as well as the requirements for the operation and maintenance of converter valves, DC field equipment, AC field equipment, DC control and protection systems, and auxiliary systems. This document applies to the operation and maintenance of converter station equipment with an AC voltage of 35kV or higher and a DC voltage of ±30kV or higher. The operation and maintenance of other converter station equipment can be implemented with reference to this document.
