Scope

This document specifies the usage conditions, general requirements, testing, type testing, individual testing, acceptance testing, packaging, transportation, and storage requirements for ultra-high voltage DC wall-penetrating bushings. This document applies to wall-penetrating bushings used in ±800kV and ±1100kV ultra-high voltage DC transmission projects, including pole bus wall-penetrating bushings, neutral bus wall-penetrating bushings (when each pole has two valves and a bypass switch), and center-point bus wall-penetrating bushings. Oil-immersed smoothing reactors bushings used in conventional high-voltage DC transmission projects, wall-penetrating bushings used in flexible DC transmission projects, and wall-penetrating bushings used in conventional high-voltage DC transmission projects below ±800kV can be referenced for reference.
