Scope
This standard specifies the materials, product specifications, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of high-performance rigid polyvinyl chloride (PVC) pipes and fittings for water supply.
This standard applies to the manufacture and inspection of high-performance rigid PVC pipes and fittings for water supply in outdoor buried installations and pipe galleries where the water temperature does not exceed 45°C.
