Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, order content, dimensions, shapes, weights, and allowable deviations of cold-bent steel for automotive cross members, as well as technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging marks, and quality certificates. This standard applies to cold-bent steel for automotive cross members used in passenger and cargo vehicles, which is produced by continuous roll bending cold-bending machines from hot-rolled steel plates or steel strips with a thickness of not less than 4mm.
