Scope
This document specifies the altitude correction requirements for the uniform creepage distance of insulators used in transmission lines. This document is applicable to transmission lines in areas with an altitude of 1000m to 5500m, and for insulators used in AC 1000V and DC ±1500V and higher systems. The altitude correction method for the uniform creepage distance of insulators and bushings used in substations under high-altitude pollution conditions can be referred to this document for implementation.
