Scope

This standard specifies the product classification and marking, dimensions, appearance, weight, and allowable deviations, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, storage, marking, and quality certificates of rare earth zinc-aluminum alloy-coated steel strands. This standard is suitable for aluminum-containing rare earth zinc-aluminum alloy-coated steel strands (hereinafter referred to as steel strands) with a corrosion resistance of 0.2% to 1.0%, which are used in overhead power lines, communication cables, electrified railway contact networks, as well as for suspension, tethering, hanging, and fixing objects.
