Scope

This standard specifies the classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of polyvinylidene chloride (PVDC) coated films (hereinafter referred to as coated films). This standard applies to coated films made from biaxially oriented polypropylene (BOPP), biaxially oriented polyester (BOPET), and biaxially oriented nylon (BOPA) films as base films, and using polyvinylidene chloride latex as the main coating material.
