Scope

This standard specifies the safety requirements for laboratory reactors (excluding the safety requirements for glass reactors) under normal and extended environmental conditions (see Appendix A). This standard also stipulates the methods for verifying whether the equipment meets the requirements of this standard through inspections and type tests. This standard applies to reactors with a geometric volume of less than 25 L and a design pressure of no more than 35 MPa.
