This document specifies three hash functions that use (n-bit) block ciphers. The first hash function provides a hash value of no more than n bits, the second hash function provides a hash value of 2n bits, and the third hash function provides a hash value of 3n bits. This document is applicable to the design, development, and testing of hash functions that use block ciphers.
