Scope

This standard specifies the basic methods and technical requirements for the regular inspection and evaluation of welded insulated gas cylinders used in automobiles for liquefied natural gas (LNG). This standard applies to welded insulated gas cylinders used in automobiles for LNG, which are made of steel and have a vacuum-insulated structure. Their nominal working pressure is (0.2~3.5) MPa, nominal volume is (150~500) L, design temperature is -196°C, and they are used under normal environmental temperatures of (-40~60)°C. These cylinders include the cylinder body, accessories, safety accessories, and other components.
