Scope

This standard specifies the principles, equipment, procedures, methods, certificates, materials, and acceptance of the flow velocity meter calibration tank (hereinafter referred to as the "calibration tank") for the calibration/verification of rotary flow velocity meters. This standard applies to the calibration/verification of rotary flow velocity meters, including propeller-type and cup-type flow velocity meters used for measuring velocities in open channels, and micro-rotor-type flow velocity meters used in laboratories.
