Scope

This standard specifies the basic requirements for radiation health protection in tin mines, workplace monitoring and personal monitoring, as well as management target values for workplaces.
This standard applies to the protection against occupational radiation exposure caused by natural radionuclides and their daughter products in tin mines during mining, mineral processing, and smelting operations. Other mines or processing sites of associated radioactive minerals may refer to and implement this standard accordingly.
