Scope
1.0.1 In order to standardize the construction process of fireproof sealing for cables in power engineering and improve the safety and reliability of power engineering operation, these guidelines are formulated. 1.0.2 These guidelines specify the construction process of fireproof sealing for cables in power engineering, mainly including: cable penetration through walls, cable penetration through floors, cable entry into trays, cabinets, boxes, cable trays, cable shafts, cable tunnels (trenches), cable penetration through protective pipes, and fireproof sealing for power cable intermediate joints and other parts. 1.0.3 These guidelines are applicable to thermal power, hydropower, nuclear power conventional islands, wind power, photovoltaic, and other types of power generation projects, as well as power transmission and distribution, and power supply and distribution projects. 1.0.4 The construction process of fireproof sealing for cables in power engineering shall comply with these guidelines and the provisions of current national standards.
