Scope

1.0.1 This procedure is formulated to standardize the test methods for geotechnical and chemical analysis of hydropower projects. 1.0.2 This procedure is applicable to geotechnical and chemical analysis of hydropower projects. 1.0.3 Samples used for geotechnical and chemical analysis of hydropower projects shall be representative and comply with the relevant sampling requirements for surveying, design, construction, and operation of hydropower projects. 1.0.4 Unless there are special requirements, the water used for testing in this procedure shall be of no lower than Class III water specified in the current national standard GB/T 6682 "Specifications and Test Methods for Water Used in Analytical Laboratories". 1.0.5 Unless there are special requirements, all tests in this procedure shall use analytical-grade chemical reagents. 1.0.6 In addition to this procedure, the geotechnical and chemical analysis of hydropower projects shall also comply with the provisions of the current relevant national standards.
