Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions for the treatment of livestock and poultry manure in covered oxidation ponds, as well as the construction, operation, and maintenance of such ponds. This standard is applicable to large-scale livestock and poultry farms where the total solid content of the manure is less than 15% and there is a corresponding area of farmland for the utilization of the manure.
