Scope
This specification is applicable to the calibration of carbon depth measuring instruments with a graduation value/resolution of 0.25 mm and a measurement range up to 8 mm, as well as carbon depth measuring rulers with a graduation value/resolution of 0.01 mm and 0.02 mm and a measurement range up to 70 mm. Other types of carbon depth measuring instruments and rulers can also be calibrated in accordance with this specification.
