Scope
This document specifies the electromagnetic compatibility requirements for the emission and immunity of transformers, reactors, and power supply devices with a frequency range of 0 Hz to 400 GHz. There is no need to test in the frequency bands for which no limits are specified.
This document applies to transformers, reactors, and power supply devices within the scope of GB/T 19212.1.
For transformers, reactors, and power supply devices supplied with or used in conjunction with electrical appliances or electrical equipment, the relevant electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) standards of the electrical appliances or electrical equipment apply.
This document only addresses normal operating conditions. Other operating conditions of transformers, reactors, and power supply devices (for example, simulating faults in the circuit for testing purposes, or due to the impact of electromagnetic phenomena on functional safety, or evaluating people exposed to electromagnetic fields) are not considered in this document.
Each port has specific requirements. If the requirements are inconsistent, the most stringent requirements take precedence.
This document can also serve as a guide for testing transformers, reactors, and power supply devices separately before integrating them into electrical appliances or electrical equipment.
Note: In this document, EUT (equipment under test) refers to transformers, reactors, and power supply devices (if applicable).
This document does not apply to:
——Uninterruptible power supply devices (UPS) included in IEC 62040 (all parts);
——Power supply devices included in IEC 61204 [i.e., DC-DC converters, DC power supply and distribution equipment, and power supply devices used in equipment covered by IEC 60950-1, IEC 61010-1, IEC 60601, and IEC 60065];
——Power supply devices and converters used with or in products covered by IEC 61347 (all parts).
