Scope

This standard specifies the principles, reagents and materials, instruments and equipment, samples, preparation of glass samples, X-ray fluorescence spectrometry analysis, test reports, and precision for determining the components of iron-containing dust sludge by X-ray fluorescence spectrometry.
This standard is applicable to the simultaneous determination of nine chemical components in iron-containing dust sludge from ironmaking and steelmaking, including total iron, silica, calcium oxide, magnesium oxide, aluminum oxide, titanium dioxide, manganese oxide, phosphorus pentoxide, and zinc oxide. The determination range is listed in Table 1.
