Scope

This standard specifies the technical principles of defining, disposing, recycling, and utilizing iron-containing dust sludge in steel enterprises, including technical routes, process design, environmental protection, and evaluation.
This standard applies to the recovery and utilization of dust sludge generated in the processes of raw material preparation, sintering, pelletizing, ironmaking, steelmaking, and rolling in steel enterprises. It does not include the recovery and utilization of metallurgical auxiliary dust sludge, oil-containing dust sludge from rolling, and dust sludge generated in the processing of special ores. The recovery and utilization of iron-containing dust sludge in other industries can refer to this standard for implementation.
