Scope

This document specifies the quality evaluation indicators and control requirements for raw coal used in coal chemical industry, and proposes guiding principles for scarce coal resources with special properties or uses, for coal resources with higher contents of harmful elements, and for determining the design coal type of coal chemical projects.
This document is applicable to newly-built, reconstructed, and expanded coal chemical projects such as medium- and low-temperature pyrolysis, coal coking, coal gasification, and direct coal liquefaction.
