Scope
This document specifies the technical requirements for the operation, maintenance, overhaul, and testing of self-excited excitation systems for large and medium-sized hydroelectric generators. This document is applicable to self-excited excitation systems for hydroelectric generators with a rated capacity of 10MW or more. The excitation systems for hydroelectric generators with a capacity of less than 10MW can be implemented with reference to this document.
