Scope

This document provides the parameter characteristics of electromagnetic noise suppression chips (NSS) for digital devices and equipment operating at frequencies between 30 MHz and 30 GHz. It also provides guidelines for manufacturers' technical data on the performance description of noise suppression chips. NSS suppresses noise at the source of the noise, rather than absorbing noise at a certain distance. Therefore, NSS is different from radio frequency absorbers used in free space. The values given in this document are typical parameter (attribute) values related to NSS. It is difficult or even impossible to predict the performance values of specific devices, so the purpose of NSS testing is to evaluate the materials. It is advisable for users and manufacturers to consult each other on every detailed material and NSS specification.
