Scope
This part of GB/T 9345 specifies three methods for determining the ash content of polyvinyl chloride. The general steps in GB/T 9345.1 are adopted. Method A is used to determine the ash content, and Methods B and C are used to determine the sulfated ash content. All three methods can be applied to resins, mixtures, and finished products. When lead compounds are present, Methods B and C should be used.
